An Introductory Note

When my friends and I were writing this book, it was done with a sense of wanting to help younger students learn from our past experiences and mistakes, so that they could “stand on our shoulders” in a sense, enjoy their school days better, and ultimately get more out of education.

Reflecting on our lives thus far, there have been one or two illuminating lessons for each of us that really impacted our lives for the better. Some of these insights saved us considerable quantities of time, some helped to give our lives greater meaning and peace of mind, other lessons changed the way we viewed learning, people, and even life itself. Lessons like these we wished we had known when we were just starting out, instead of learning them at the end of our fumbles and attempts to peer through the fog. So here are our learning points in the areas of school, recreation, family life, friendships, other relationships, CCA, and we truly hope that you, the younger readers, will be able to benefit from the insights contained in these pages.

If you know anyone who might benefit from this eBook, please let them know about this site, or simply give them a copy of the book!

Excellent useful lessons highlighted in the book! Cheers for the great effort behind.

Maybe the second edition could be more experience based. A good source of reference for such motivation books is the chicken soup series. Instead of advising what one should / shouldnt do, a better approach will be through describing narratively a specific experience by each student. Something like a diary approach, emphasising the questions in the minds of the teenagers.

Cheers!
